Bye - bye Samson

Happy Birthday Liam!

June 21st was my nephew Liam's first Birthday. The theme of the party was fish... so I made Liam's cake in the shape of a green fish (which he seemed to like - see pictures below) and I also made a bunch of cookies for the cake Angela bought. The fish are swimming on the water and the dolphins are jumping in and out of the "water" on the back of the cake. It turned out really nice! Walmart told Angela that they wanted a picture of the finished product.

slide

Isaac likes to play with the toy trucks at Grandma and Grandpa's house. Earlier this week, we went to the school with Grandma and played on the slides. Isaac LOVES the slide now. He was even going down by himself before the end of the night. He would go down feet first on his belly and when he reached the bottome he would either say "more slide" or "again" and run back to the ladder. His hair was soaked with sweat by the time we went home!

Zoo visit #2

We went to the zoo again on Friday, June 13th with Billy, Angela and Liam. It was fun to see the animals that we had missed the first time... the manatees, fish, lions and giraffes. This picture was taken right before the sky opened up and poured on us! The trays on the boys' strollers were filled with water and all of us were beyond soaked. Nevertheless, we had a good time :)

Isaac is saying "meow" in this picture. He was telling us what the "big kitties" say.

Men in Ties

Isaac and Daddy both wore their blue ties to church a couple weeks ago. Isaac likes to wear ties and hats when Daddy is wearing them, too.

Muscle man

Practice makes perfect... I can almost invision Isaac's Olympic pommel horse routine :)

Working out is tiring, but being strong is the payoff. He better work on those muscles... so his bigger baby cousin can't beat him up!!
