Pumpkin season
It's coming up on my favorite time of year again... pumpkin time! I love all things pumpkin; pie, cookies, coffee, you name it. Isaac really likes my "stumpkin" on the front porch, too. (Speaking of which, Oct. 11th is the Saurkraut Festival in Waynesville, Ohio, where I purchased the "stumpkin" a few years back). I also love the cooler weather that comes with "punkins", as Isaac calls them. I'd love to have a summer home in the north and a winter home in the south, so it would be 60-75 degrees year round :) .jpg)

Happy Birthday to...
Charles, Grandma and me! September is a big month for birthdays for our family. We celebrated Grandma Parton's birthday first, then Charles, Grandma Davidson and finally me. Of course, Isaac gave me a wonderful present. On the evening of my birthday, he fell off the porch onto his face. The pictures don't show it very well (thankfully) but the wound was only a couple hours old in the pictures below. Aside from Isaac getting hurt, it was a good day :).jpg)

Aquarium
On September 5th, we went to the Newport Aquarium with Angela, Billy and Liam. It was a great day to go because it was rainy all day! The boys liked looking at the fish, turtles, crabs, snakes, frogs and sharks. They have a jungle gym area for the kids where the frog exibit is. Isaac and Daddy climbed through the gym and Isaac climbed on the super large frogs.
Isaac touched a horseshoe crab and a starfish in the "petting" area... I didn't let him touch the sharks. It was a nice day and Isaac and I fell asleep in the car on the way home!
Here we are in front of the Aquarium with Cincinnati in the background.

Baby Dedication
On Sunday, August 17th, 2008, Charles and I dedicated Isaac to the Lord. Our prayer is that God will help us to be the parents that Isaac needs and that we can raise him in a Godly home with Biblical morals and values so that he will come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, and desire to serve the Lord. Here is the picture that was taken after the ceremony.

Cincinnati Zoo
Angela and I took the boys to the Zoo today. Here are the pictures I took of the boys checking out the animal statues. Last time, Isaac was scared of the baby elephant statue, but he liked it this time. Liam was afraid of the gorilla statue, so we sat the boys down in front of it. They both wanted to climb on the polar bear statue. We had a really nice day. Both boys fell asleep on the stroller-ride to the car!
